19 January 2022The RD8 can hold 16 Songs and 16 Patterns, but you'll need to get your stuff in or out of the box. The RD8 uses SysEx dumps instead of a software application. The only valuable information for the average user is a mention of the Dump button on the front panel. Instead, it explains the data schema and MIDI messaging used to represent the unit's settings, tunes, and patterns. Behringer may have posted this information expecting an independent developer would utilize it to construct a backup program.
more..Pros 👍 Cons 👎 • Big, convincing 808 sound.
• Individual outputs.
• Built-in effects.
• Performance effects.
• Channel mutes and solos.• Many operations confusing.
• No simple backup or companion software.
• Some good 808 sequencer features are gone.👍 Like👎 Dislike⚠ Report
