So far, I've only used it once, so I can't comment on durability, but I'm quite pleased with the styler. I have long, medium-thick hair and have been hunting for a good curling wand for a long time. I chose to go with this after purchasing two inexpensive ones. Curls are lovely and simple to construct, but be sure to wear the heat safety glove supplied. Heat pad, tote bag, and glove are included. It's quite useful. I suppose you get what you pay for. Keeping the curls in your hair depends on the products you use to style it and the thickness of your hair, but I've never had any issues. I'd suggest it!
